Necessary Sacrifice was originally formed by a warrior named Naweon in August of 2008. He wanted a guild where every member could participate in raiding. His one goal was to defeat Illidan Stormrage, self-proclaimed Lord of Outland, before WOTLK was released. That mission was accomplished in two months with time to spare! Now NS continues as a strong progression guild.
At the onset of Wrath of the Lich King, a shining beacon of beauty and grace succeeded NS. Overseeing the destruction of Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas and plummeting the guild into the depths of Ulduar, the druid Nigela lead NS into a period of prosperity. Her time with the guild was short, but will always be remembered.
Currently under the guidance of the warlock Kylix, Necessary Sacrifice has become a force in Northrend with the destruction of Arthas, the Scourge leader dubbed the Lich King. NS strives forward, preparing for Cataclysm and becoming a Heroic guild.

Necessary Sacrifice is recruiting Heroic Mode ready raiders. As we are currently pushing ICC Heroic, we expect applications to be ready for the challenges. We expect all of our members to come to raids fully prepared with flasks, enchantments, gems, food, time and concentration, as well as working knowledge of the Heroic encounters and strategies. Our 25 Man Raid schedule is currently Tues/Thurs/Sun from 7:30 PM until 11:00 PM.
We offer a second ICC run that occurs on Monday nights at 7:30 PM. This is for the purposes of testing out new recruits, gearing up raiders who are behind on their gear levels, and providing a more fun atmosphere for raiding as well as alts.

Please see below for a list of our class needs! Please be mostly ICC 25 geared or higher before applying. While we realize gear is not everything, an under-geared applicant will be required to show adequate skill to compensate for their gear level.
